This ambitious space is a partnership with the Harbourfront Centre: a cultural centre that’s served the community since the 1970s. The Slip is proud to continue the work of the Harbourfront Centre in reinvigorating Toronto’s waterfront. The venue is multi-purpose and remarkably versatile. The spacious patio is easily adaptable to any event, including weddings, panels, corporate events, concerts and dj nights. The Slip can accommodate up to five-hundred guests for cocktail-style events, or up to two hundred twenty for seated dinners, We are an inclusive and accessible space.

Exclusive use of the patio spaces, with time for set-up and tear-down as outlined in your rental contract.
Included with your rental is the use of our restaurant furnishings: picnic tables, benches and stools. The Slip is designed to promote a communal environment, making it the ideal location for your friends, family, and colleagues to come together. Our picnic benches can seat up to ten guests, and some or all of the furniture can be moved if you prefer. Removal of the furniture may come at an additional cost.
Standard bar staffing will be included on the day of your special event. Your event manager will assist through the entire process, and ensure the on-site team is fully prepared to deliver a flawless experience.
